About Me

My name is Daniel Edwards and I am a Senior Network Engineer for a Cisco Partner in Central Florida.  I have been working in the computer industry for over ten years and focusing on networking for the last five.  I originally focused on programming and analysis work but found networking to be the area I wished to focus on.  My area of expertise is Cisco IP Telephony and Routing and Switching however I do have quite a good amount of experience with Wireless and Security as well.

I am in the process of studying for my CCIE Routing and Switching and am hoping to get finished with it by the end of 2009.  While it is quite an undertaking with my current line of work it is important as well as it provides me with the ability to pretty much get any high level job in the networking industry.

  1. Danny Snyder,

I was also at Cisco Live! in Orlando and went to the Cat 6500 deep dive techtorial. I have not had any luck finding the slide deck that we were supposed to be able to download from the Cisco Live! website. Have you looked for it and were you able to find it?

    Thanks in advance,
    Danny

  2. dedwards,

Unfortunately I haven’t seen the Techtorials show up yet. I am not sure why they haven’t posted them yet or maybe they are not going to this year. In the past they were always there but then again the site used to be less flashy and more functional…

  3. Jonathan Finney,

    Dan,

I enjoyed/used/read some of your VOIP posts. Good stuff. Good luck on the CCNP track I blasted out my bcmsn recently. I got tasked with learning voice from scratch so I’ve been going nuts. CCNA Voice coming soon .
